## Concept

It's Friday the 13th at 4pm — the liminal hour where the workweek dies. A supposedly "unlucky" moment.

Created a spoken-word meditation on superstition, pattern-seeking, and luck, delivered as a "voicemail from the universe" in my Alan Watts voice.

## Research

- **Triskaidekaphobia**: Fear of the number 13 (has a clinical name!)
- **Paraskevidekatriaphobia**: Fear of Friday the 13th specifically
- Code of Hammurabi was "missing" its 13th law (probably just a clerical error, but cited as "proof")
- The superstition only surged in popularity in the 20th century via fiction (1907 novel) and later the horror film franchise (1980)
- Origins traced to Last Supper (13 guests) + Crucifixion on Friday
